To deliver FRNYC programming to students, your school will partner with employers, intermediaries, and CUNY. Employer partners will support your school with establishing WBL experiences for students.
When/how employer partners are involved
Employers will play an integral role in the creation and implementation of your school's WBL experiences. While many opportunities for students will be managed by an intermediary partner (more details in Intermediary Partnerships section), your school is also welcome / encouraged to develop relationships with employers, particularly in your school's community.
See below for examples of how you and your students will engage with partners and who will manage these relationships.

- School-Led Career Exploration and Awareness Programming
In order to meet the work-based learning expectations of FRNYC for 9th-10th graders, schools will need to cultivate employer partners to provide early grade career exploration programming (e.g., panels, workshops) and/or participate in pre-existing programs led by CBOs or other program providers.
For more resources on this, see the Quality Work Based Learning Toolkit.
